The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影又好笑又感动又不落俗套，完全不用担心听不懂潮汕话，因为情感与故事都是共通的。
三星半吧。前半部分展现出来的民风民俗和烟火气很动人，后半部分就有点强行HE，人物转折没啥说服力。也罢，贺岁档总需要大团圆结局。

结尾略微仓促。追回人家那里表现得太匆忙了。也放大了妈妈的作用。
是一部发生在潮汕故事的全素人演的电影

还不错的小成本故事片，有用心好好讲一个故事，对国产片来说，这就很难得了，并且地方语言——潮汕语和潮汕语歌曲的运用也是加分项。

有种刻意营造出的真实，有些段子幽默是不是太过头了，演员素人还是稚嫩跳戏，冲突做的不错，是个完整的故事
