The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 扯太多艺术上的事了明明就是披个外衣，有点尬，结尾更是突然，神神鬼鬼怎么就又变人为了，融合得有点僵硬。
镜子梦魇和种族问题相媾和突然失去意趣，乔丹皮儿的政治论文写到这一篇突然让人有些阅读乏味。导演的声画意识、场面调度都很精彩。
一种精英式语境下的标语呐喊，看似是痛彻心扉的，实际是缥缈虚无的。历史与当下呈现出明显的排异与分裂，优点是《我们》式的，匮乏是《天鹅绒圆锯》式的。
