The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 几年前在某站看过字幕组版本，官摄版本的力量感又上一层，我全程感慨“有音乐剧真好”。疫情时代，这样守望相助的故事就显得更加珍贵。非常喜欢。「Be anxious for nothing. 应当一无挂虑。」
音乐同善意一样感人，相当鼓舞人心的一部作品。（必须得感谢官摄，对于种种原因而鲜有甚至没有机会去剧院的人们来说，这真的是极好的奉送。）故事源于9·11事件及其影响的其中一面，虽然远离第一恐袭现场，但在这座小镇上，在这部戏剧中，所涉及话题却格外的充裕和细致，除了展现人类之间的互助互爱，还对信任理解、信仰责任等一系列关联概念做了具体的探究与表达。这就非常值得去思考，即便没有这场人为灾难，世界是不是本就该变得更美好，人与人之间应当更为宽容与和谐，人性的真善美不该在带着血泪的惨剧发生后才觉醒。
百老汇音乐剧果真不同凡响，从舞台设计、场景切换、光影效果到台词音乐都无可挑剔，女机长简直太酷！如果说上周刚看过的《转折点》试图拼接起正面的历史，这部音乐剧算是另辟蹊径地挽起一朵火焰，照耀出那段时光的影子。唯此空前绝后的经历方可配得上传奇人生，我亦多么渴望有一天坐在不明方向不知终点的航班上，将我可怜可笑又可叹的故事说与你听……

9.11二十周年之际看这部展现人类闪光时刻格外暖心，纽芬兰的许多都是人们理想的状态，种族宗教性取向都不再是问题，仿佛不存在少数和多数的概念，小镇的人为在黑暗中的人带来了光，尤其是知道了是真实发生的事件后，更为感动，在这世间还是有美好的人和事存在的，最糟糕的时刻总是最能展现人性，想去世界尽头的甘德看一看。
看完勒 倒是没有哭 但是整体很温暖 有的歌很好听 角色也都区分得很明晰 可以从它的歌舞里感受到音乐剧的魅力的程度｜ps：每个人都受制于社会 让我想起了十月底经历的一些事
So Canadian! 没能在多伦多看现场也要加入多伦多遗憾清单了。
看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
十二位主演，每人至少分饰两角。真是太厉害了，不论是演技还是舞台设计。结局伴奏团的单独表演也很棒。果然Me and the sky在最高潮处，真的好听。
看的是官摄所以标个电影吧～很感动…机长之歌很振奋；“tonight we honour what we lost but we also commemorate what we found”。
世界不是孤立的，人类的悲欢可以共鸣，穆斯林是要被搜身的…

舞台剧 适合一口气看完，服化道具细节 情感氛围演绎到位
大概是描述美国911空难事件，所有飞机停留一个小岛的故事
密集的台词和唱段、动听的旋律、热闹的舞步、简洁炫目的舞美、缤纷的笑料和点到为止的感人瞬间，百老汇太强了。女机长的solo曲目Me and the Sky进入单曲循环。
看之前没想到这个剧传达的信息这么optimistic 卡司无缝衔接身份转换 in an ideal world 陌生人的善意 世界和平
