The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 三星半。一出童话，关于成长、老去和自我救赎的童话。老牛仔风采依旧，但不再那么尖锐，而是平静且温和。
后半部分好一些。
还以为东木这次仍然会为侠气牺牲 没想到只是温馨的小品
60分/东木老爷子的电影是真的看一部少一部了，毕竟以91岁的高龄作为导演兼主角，只有他能做到。
镜头语言大师，这部新片剧情很一般，但又有多少人90岁还在自导自演着自己的片子呢…
老牛仔最后的余热，一段忘年交之旅。老爷子有点拍不动了，平淡，柔软，温情。且看且珍惜吧。★★★☆
这是一部“停留”片，不是延展。多一星当然是给伊斯特伍德。
猛男鸡反转那段处理的有点过于魔幻。老牛仔的戏有两点独特魅力，一个是慢一拍的反应，戏剧节奏拿的很稳，二是丰厚的经历，应对时处变不惊的态度

老爷子的电影看着就是舒服，可惜男孩的演技太差了，严重拖后腿
九十而随心所欲，拍电影终于不再是为了拍电影。
3星半，吉他配乐特别引人入胜，整个事件过于简单又顺利，基本说服不了观众的动机。美墨边境的混乱常态根本不值一提，少年一路上也省心，碰到的都是好人，大方的女老板、从天而降的车、以为是拦路虎却没什么用的警察。和以前的片子比，就是个流水账，不想说它是“童话”，可拍得很安然无恙又太过浅白。这西部片的配乐很符气质，虽然到处槽点也不至于很难过，看到这片，想着牛仔导演怎么还不退休。
很平淡，东木老爷子太老了，处处透露着他的虚弱。演电影确实力不从心了。整个电影算得上四平八稳，各种手法也都是经典套路，不亮眼倒也不算差。
（整体有点难以入戏）人生智慧 沙漠夕阳 小镇柔情 这太像一个谢幕 观影时总在害怕这会不会是东木最后一部电影 希望他健康长寿🥲
比《老爷车》稍微缺了一点点，但比《Mule》要好很多。
其实现在看东木的唯一意义就是看着他一点点老去
