The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 剧情可有可无，全靠一条可爱的狗狗撑起一出戏。
剧情确实太老套，但全片氛围感较好。看到男友有点出戏，总想起他在爱恋里面的表演，以为又是一部情色片。

两个受伤的灵魂相依为伴，以为是一个灵魂的终点，却成为了两个灵魂的新的起点，狗子的治愈作用的确强大，对于狗来说，的确他只有你，当你能感觉到狗子对主人的全神贯注，似乎没有什么是不能治愈的。
导演到底如果把这部电影定义成family movie,就不应该加入2女一男的灵异事件。太煞风景了
