The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 在豆瓣的冷门榜单里面看到了这部电影（话剧或音乐剧）。随手打开，结果一下子就看进去了，并一口气看完了，虽然没经历那个至暗时刻，但只要了解大的背景，就能一下子带入那个场景，投入这个剧情。
这种片子看得才过瘾，内容充实拍摄效果棒，养眼又治愈

几年前在某站看过字幕组版本，官摄版本的力量感又上一层，我全程感慨“有音乐剧真好”。疫情时代，这样守望相助的故事就显得更加珍贵。非常喜欢。「Be anxious for nothing. 应当一无挂虑。」

这个剧情也不能说不行 毕竟本来也不能怎么改编 不过觉得故事选取可以更好点 总的来说就是平淡 但又不像乐队来访那样有深层的情感 无意中就能打动人 音乐一般
这个真的好棒！短小精悍的一部戏里居然处理了这么多问题，而且讲得都足够有深度，情感上也到位……灾难确实是最适合展现人性光辉的场景，哪怕是浓鸡汤也不觉得俗气，还有这个舞台调度是真的绝啊，感叹了无数次，几把椅子、灯光变幻和最简单的换装，几秒钟就瞬间切换了场景和场景里的角色，非常流畅完全不出戏，实在太巧了，希望国内音乐剧编排能来学学
这部音乐剧不仅做到了令人难忘的音乐效果，亦在幽默的基础上增添了人性的光辉。
看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
“humanity”是我看这部音乐剧能想到的一个词。2000年的9.11，我正值小学，放学回家的傍晚，家里电视开着，爸妈在电视机前目瞪口呆，电视上滚动播出美国世贸大厦被飞机撞击的新闻画面，虽然才小学，但那个画面此生难忘。911不仅改变了美国，二十年后看，911还改变了整个世界。以经历911一天的人作为对象的整部音乐剧非常好看。
唉
它对这件事的表达不伤、不煽，也不那么戏剧，反而是贴近日常生活的平实温和。
看的我眼泪直流。在灾难、不幸和苦难面前，善意超越了肤色、国界和语言。
