The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这个完全就是各种片段的拼接啊救命，到底在讲啥……

看完就觉得，这样充实饱满的剧情，也确实得三个小时才能承载。
枯燥的内容却如此吸引人
电影颇为漫长，布景、服化道这些都十分得古典，甚至用了4:3这样的经典画幅，但拍摄手法上却十分得现代，感觉是要有意去呈现出那个时代下特有的时代风格，并将导演个人的批判全部融入到男主的多见多闻中，再结合当今的时代，多少觉得导演是有在隐喻当今的世界吧。
前三十分钟手持镜头的快速蒙太奇，之后的两个多小时开始正常叙事，很长，但我看得很耐心，猜到结局但我仍然很喜欢。

理性与权利无法同时拥有，人类的世界终归会走向毁灭。
一边是广播里背景音里偶然传来的政治背景，一边是迷茫混沌无助的青年人。那样的环境里一切都是撕裂并溃烂着……没有未来没有希望，只有迷茫，只有放纵……
虽然内容惨无人道，形式上确是平凡常见的工作会议。

文学叙事电影，各种闪切、手持、广播、信件式表达。就是片长时长有点长，观看门槛拉升了。台词写得太好了！
某个译名是“不合时宜的人”，看到最后想起横道世之介。大时代下的一个小碎片。前半部分很容易吸引人，后半有些泄气但到结尾又给人一击。“学会游泳”。
