The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 能看出是用心之作但剧本真的一般，结尾的感情渲染太刻意了以至于到最后一刻有点跳戏。摄影是好看的，朱老师也是好看的，最爱的是养老院那天晚上的那场哭戏。
沉浸式体验会让人觉得紧凑紧张，小心翼翼的善良输出却和这个世界格格不入
个人认为结尾将个人苦难转移到政府层面的失职实在是个败笔。
疫情下每个国家的运行方式都是一样的，为了阶级利益，关于生命的一切已经不再重要，但还好偶尔也会有好人在。噢对了，至少一些国家能把这些拍出来，而另一些国家连拍都不行
这个视角讲疫情挺不错的，拍的也不错，只是因为讲的是更英国的故事没能那么有耐心看。最后也是创作者抨击英国体制的落点，但这个片的视角确实值得借鉴。
最后女主在警车上的镜头缓慢推进到正脸，控诉着警察，控诉着僵化的防疫政策。男主回护理院的镜头拍的不像回家，像进地狱……
压抑绝望，聚焦新冠疫情不需要视角广立意高，能让人感同身受的永远是每一个普通人的遭遇和经历。（观影时间：2021年9月26日；自评：7.7；推荐指数：★★★★）

基本是女主独角戏，通过救赎男主获得自我与家人的唯一一次和解。结局过于仓促。由于新冠题材+1星。
剧情本身而言拍得很现实，让人很难受。
看的中途多次觉得太intense了，tony被戴上口罩的那一刻我感觉马上要窒息了。
