A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
2分钟翻过去这个电影，还是感觉被恶心到了。到死都不揭开面具啊！有点人的感情吧！
我以为人物都比较完整。剧本还是很严谨的。结果发现，翻拍还造这样。
为题材加一分。这种主题就是奔着让你哭去的吧？确实也哭了，比较适合带妈妈去看。无论如何，希望能看到更多以中年、老年女性为题材的影视作品。
本来因为吴彦姝老师康康的，结果刚好开演前岛屿心情巡演开预售票，没抢到，有点没太看进去。有几个小设计还可以，但是这个家庭类型加癌症题材可以与《小伟》《送你一朵小红花》对标，癌症题材这两年还挺多，《小伟》还是目前最不错的。
刚好母亲节电视上看了，故事很俗套但依然被感动哭了，ps：南极真的太美了
女二好温柔啊，女一很冲动任性，但她俩在一起好和谐，一个在疯，一个无条件的宠着。
中规中矩，日本拍这类片子轻车熟路，很少出错，但缺点就是也没什么惊喜了。
她是女儿的母亲/奶奶的母亲/丈夫的母亲/弟弟的母亲，可偏偏没能成为自己身体的母亲。
看完到张婧仪北漂那条线，内心由衷感叹：别学电视编导，别搞电视综艺😅把无知盲目当理想，最后到了现实却发现不是这样。
情真意切，感人至深。中国式家庭的温暖和包容之下，生活的千疮百孔也成了宝贵的人生经历。青岛和北京的双城故事一定也代表了很多人的乡愁和梦想吧。 沃美世界城 问askwin
美雪真的太过于温柔了，接纳了病娇又疯批的爱，让爱也明白了什么是爱
隔壁的观众哭了很久，的确是很好哭，徐帆真不错。只是我觉得太温情脉脉了，里面的家庭问题、母子问题、姐弟问题，每一个追究下去，都是玻璃渣，踩一下都会流血的，不过现在因为妈妈要离去，就给柔化了，磨平了，这让我不满足。这位妈妈是中国大部分妈妈的缩影，我们接受起来非常顺滑，因为电影再一次歌颂她肯定她，我们被她感动，也为自己感动。但妈妈变成这样，更深层的原因不是感动能解决的。
点映看的，真的好哭，可能今年过的太丧了，一个电影一个发泄，有些情感和故事是从人的根性上打动你的。
不管翻拍哪个，这家人中爸爸的存在感都聊胜于无，连句像样的台词都没几句，该说几句时没说，不该说时也没说，只有母女俩的各种矫情和做作。好演员，一般导演，烂改编。5.6

连续看了两部山田杏奈，有感染力也有杀气。片中后期围巾造型+眼神太杀人了！芋生悠也不错！

徐帆演的挺好的，适合母亲节来看。影片的故事内容朴实无华，但是太罗嗦，节奏太慢，太墨迹。本可以深入挖掘角色是如何从女孩成长为母亲，在怎样的时代背景成长为如今这样的，放着这样的深度没有挖掘，而是在一些很浅的层次上展开，张歆艺角色有什么用？⊙▽⊙

拍的还行吧，虽然故事题材俗了点，演技还是好的。中国式传统父母的传统管控孩子方式一直是自以为是，其实挺不尊重孩子人性的，不过在某些方面对孩子也有帮助吧，作为子女来讲心情还真是复杂的。张婧仪是个有前途的小演员。
